OUR STORY
Established in 2021, the Medical Device Association of the Philippines (MDAP) is a national industry alliance that supports the responsible growth of the medical device sector in the Philippines. MDAP contributes to policy development and regulatory dialogue to help ensure that the local environment enables innovation, academic research, and sustainable industry collaboration. Through engagement with government agencies, healthcare institutions, academic partners, and international stakeholders, MDAP works to strengthen standards, encourage ethical practices, and advance access to safe and effective healthcare technologies.

To be the unified national voice of the Philippine medical device industry, bringing together licensed importers, exporters, manufacturers, OEM assemblers, distributors, and service providers to advance a safe, ethical, and globally competitive healthcare ecosystem for the benefit of the Filipino people.

OUR MISSION

Building a credible and inclusive industry association composed of duly licensed traders, importers, manufacturers, OEM assemblers, distributors, service providers, and related stakeholders in the medical and health sector.

Serving as the official industry representative and dialogue partner to the Department of Health (DOH), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other relevant government agencies on matters affecting the medical device and healthcare technology sector.

Promoting responsible business collaboration and partnerships among local and international enterprises engaged in medical and health-related products, services, and innovations.

Driving programs, initiatives, and policy engagements that strengthen the medical device industry while contributing to improved healthcare delivery and public welfare for the Filipino people.
